A New Horizon

Gypsy Slow Down

Winter is flying by in a chilly blur.

Witt surprised me with an overnight trip to the beach for New Years and we rang in 2014 eating oysters which is the best way in my opinion. I took some Instagram pictures above and as you can see I am now a brunette! I had red hair over the holidays and decided it really didn't suit me so I went back to my (a little darker than) natural hair color. A new me for the new year.

I want to sit back and think about 2013 but honestly, I am more interested in what's going to happen coming up. 2013 was a year of contentment for me, learning to get to contentment and being happy with my life as it is, no changes, just us and what we have.

This year I see many happy changes on the horizon and the air feels different in a very good way.

Mostly I want to be a better person this year, that's my only resolution. Not to eat better, though I want to do that, not to exercise more, though I need to do that, but only to grow and be more filled with grace, to love more and give of myself more and constantly be grateful for what I have.

And also to re-upload all the photos I lost on my blog last year. Yikes!

I wish you and your family the very best this year and the years to come.

Happy New Year!
