Giveaway

Growing up December was the longest month of the year. Opening up the tiny paper doors on the advent calendar to reveal the little chocolate pieces underneath was the highlight of the day because it meant Christmas was one day closer. As I've gotten older I've realized how much I really love Christmas, for different reasons than when I was growing up. Understanding Christ's birth and remembering family traditions makes me so happy. Another difference between now and when I was little is that Christmas flies by. Do you agree? I used to be one of those people who refused to think about Christmas until after Thanksgiving. But I no longer think 25 days is long enough to enjoy the holiday season. I'm not supporting the stores bringing out the trees in August by any means but right now Christmas is happily on my mind.

'Tis Almost The Season!

Gypsy Slow Down

One reason Christmas has been on my mind is because over the weekend I added some Christmas lovelies to my Etsy store.
It's been a lot of fun and it inspired me to host a little giveaway. Today I won some lovely treasures from Stephanie at The Enchanting Rose and I wanted to spread the love and give away some Christmas goodies from my shop

And so here we go.

 Gypsy Slow Down Christmas Giveaway

You could win this adorable "Jingle Bells" wood burned sign.

  1. I went to like your page but found I already had! My favorite Christmas tradition buying the Christmas tree the weekend after Thanksgiving and spending the evening hanging ornaments on the tree, decorating the house, switching to the Christmas music station and drinking hot chocolate.

  2. Hi Claire! Your sign is adorable and perfect for Christmas :) I have been meaning to tell you how talented you are with your wood signs. Your giveaway is simply wonderful! I don't have a personal Facebook account, only a page for my blog. Anyhoo, I sent your package off today so I am sure it will arrive sometime later this week.

    Have a beautiful week!

  3. My favorite Christmas tradition is watching my kids take down their stockings to see what's in them!

  4. My favorite Christmas tradition is stringing the popcorn. All the kids, no matter how old with needle in hand and more popcorn on the floor and in their moth than on the string. You've got a nice giveaway. Have a great week!

  5. Christmas doesn't fly by for me, but probably because I have been working in retail since I was seventeen, so I now see the ugly side of holidays...the selfishness and rudeness of some customers. I hate that it has to be such a stressful event for many people, and the true meaning is lost.

  6. I love the magic of Christmas - the true meaning, and taking time to remember that. My children are grown, but my hubby and I still love decorating the tree together with the final step of placing the angel on top that we bought our first year of marriage. Lovely giveaway - the photo card is beautiful.

  7. Christmas Eve is my favorite part of Christmas, going to the Moravian Love Feast in Old Salem, the traditional, formal dinner and opening one gift before bedtime...all special memories. Love the giveaway!!

  9. Just Liked your page on Facebook. As a fellow blogger around your age I have to tell you how much I love reading your blog. I love your honesty and just "realness." Christmas is my favorite time of the year because I get to spend time with ALL of my family. Having 9 siblings and 3 inlaw siblings, 9 nieces and nephews and three sets of parents we rarely all get together! So it is a beautiful and crazy time :-)
PS- I see that you are always accessorized and have such a great taste in fashion. My husband and I sell really cheap scarves through Instagram @shopscarface if you want to check 'em out!
