Last Lazy Day of Summer

Gypsy Slow Down

Happy Labor Day you all.

Today involved Tyler's in Chapel Hill and a really delicious burger with pimento cheese. Walking through Southern Season which is seriously so much fun even though a bag of pasta is ten dollars. Stocking up on that great inexpensive wine at Trader Joe's as well as hummus and really good black bean and corn salsa. Tramping through the mud to the water in Saxapahaw- because Witt can't pass a river without stopping.
Working on Etsy projects.
Being thankful for a day where we both don't have to work, around here or otherwise.
They are rare but that makes me appreciate them all the more.

I can't believe it's September.
Today was hot and sticky but I'm so looking forward to Autumn.
Isn't fall the real New Year?
Fall parties.
Leaves changing.
Cool air.
Bonfires.
Sweaters and boots.
Yes please!
In the words of Anne of Green Gables;
"I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers."

It's just around the corner.
