Little hands, Little feet

Gypsy Slow Down

My beautiful niece, Piper, was born on November 13th. We went down to Atlanta on Friday to visit her and my sister, Lauren, and her family. She has a full head of black hair and chubby little cheeks just like her older sister, Ela, did.

Ela is a good big sister.

She loves her Uncle Witt.

The next morning Ela and I got ready to start our day while her Mom and Dad took Piper to her early morning check-up, which she passed with flying colors.

We left Saturday and I miss the girls and Lauren already.

There's something about new life that just defines gratitude. How can life not be a happy place when there are tiny toes and fingers attached to the first chapter in a fresh book, a clean page, a brand new life waiting to be written. Babies are God's way of saying, I'm not done with the world yet.

Hope. I'm thankful for that.
