The warm weather takes me into it's arms and kisses my face. Most of my days are spent in the embrace of the sun and it makes me feel new again, as though one whole day of winter has passed away and I am back where I was last year at this time, only not the same. Now my days are filled with outings to the park and even when we get back I herd everyone outdoors again. When I can feel the warmth I feel like I am here.

I really like my nanny children and I think they like me, I was given a daisy in honor of May Day. As Henry Beecher said, "Flowers are the sweetest things God ever made, and forgot to put a soul into." Next to that is food. The chicken for tonight had been marinating since Sunday, when I thought we would grill it and we didn't, a Greek dressing that I'd bought and some lime and olive oil. I didn't love the dressing for a salad but for a marinade it was perfect- olive oil and dill, oregano and rosemary, citrus and feta and lemon and saltiness....really delicious. With that, roasted cauliflower and broccoli and rice. A nice summers evening and a glass of wine of course.
